Report: Raiders Took Victory Lap At Arrowhead Stadium After Week 5 Win

The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly took a victory lap around Arrowhead Stadium after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.

According to Nick Jacobs of 41 Action News, the Raiders requested the police escort them around the stadium in their team buses after the 40-32 win.

The win was huge because not only are the Chiefs the defending champions, but some had already begun counting the Raiders out of the race for the AFC West.

Along with that, out of the 15 matchups between them, the Raiders have managed to win just three of them and had not been victorious since the 2017 season.

While some might take these actions and think of them to be childish or unprofessional, the Raiders were simply proud of themselves for winning a game.

The Raiders will have the chance to win the season series in a couple of weeks when they match up against the Chiefs again in Week 10 but in Las Vegas.
