Darren Waller was mic’d up against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Waller’s energy was palpable and he was able to hype up multiple of his other teammates before, during, and after the impressive 40-32 win over the Chiefs.
Waller was the defense’s biggest cheerleader on the sidelines, cheering loudly when Jonathan Abram broke up what would have been a touchdown pass.
Waller had another great game on the field himself as well in Week 5, recording five receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in Kansas City.
With the bye week coming up, Waller will get the opportunity to rest up and prepare for their Week 7 matchup against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With both teams vying for their AFC West/NFC South division championship, Waller will likely be leaned on heavily as he is Derek Carr’s best passing option.
